ALL FUTURE STUDENT LEADERS MUST ATTEND 3 Workshops between now and October             You must pick one of these three camps (not all 3) UA Camp, May 22nd ($5) @ Centennial HS , GCC Camp, June 17-19 ($50) @ GCC Synergy  Camp, June 11-13 ($125) @ Corona HS Duarte's Leadership Camp (FREE) , June 1-3 DR. Tim Workshop ($$TBD), Sept 11th @ Dobson HS Please fill out the appropriate forms to get registered for the 1st option GCC UA Synergy

2004-2005 Band Council and duties
(every position must help to keep all rooms, office and lockers cleaned up)

THE NEW BAND COUNCIL MUST ATTEND JUNE 1-3, 9am-3pm

President ˙ Jason
The President will run meetings and to make sure every job that has been assigned is being done. The President must obtain agenda items for meetings from the membership (council and Mr. Duarte) before meetings and have the agenda passed out at the meeting.

Vice President ˙ã Tana
The VP will set meeting dates once a week throughout school year, take attendance at meetings, take care of getting gifts for staff and other band councils at home games and organize a clean up schedule for the band room, every day after school, for the entire year

Secretary ˙ã Heather
Will take notes at the weekly meetings and keep a notebook of them in Mr. Duarte˙≠s office. (all notes must be typed by the day after a meeting)

Treasurer ˙ã Ashley
The treasurer will keep track of money (as of today $0) in a bookstore account and keep records on a computer using software from Mr. Duarte on his computer. The treasurer must keep individual records of check out and check in (using software on computer and a notebook) of every sale in a notebook stored in Mr. Duarte˙≠s office

Publicity ˙ã Melissa
The Publicity chair will advertise every band function that is outside of school on school based announcements and meet with Assistant Principal to get band activities on the Marquee (both Perf. Arts building. Also, the publicity chair will post reminders of sales, concerts

Librarian ˙ã Tiffany
The Librarian will keep all music passed out by Mr Duarte in a locker and keep all music in score order. The librarian will catalog the library on software on Mr. Duarte˙≠s Computer

Historian ˙ã Allison
The historian will take many, many pictures on the new HP733 digital camera. The historian will keep rename all the photos on the computer and make a scrapbook for the year. The historian will keep at least one copy of every program and festival and work with Mrs. Muller on the Band yearbook

Equipment Manager - Kristen
The equipment manager will keep inventory of all instruments throughout the year. The equipment manager will keep records on Mr. Duarte˙≠s Computer and in a notebook. The equipment manager will also keep record of band uniforms on Mr. Duarte˙≠s Computer and in a notebook with help from the Band Parents.

Concert Set Up Manager - Danny
The Concert Set up manager will set the stage for every concert (using a pre-drawn map). The concert set-up manager will also be in charge of the lobby to include ˙ã programs, assigning greeters, making sure that only the middle doors are unlocked from the lobby to the auditorium and posting signs (ie. Do not enter while bands are performing, do not enter until 6:30PM)

Technology - Cameron
The technology chair will help with computer issues for other students. Will provide information from students to the webpage and help with maintaing all the positions stated above with technology.

Member at Large - Lindsey
The member at large will assist in the 10 above stated positions and break any ties in voting.
