Deer Valley High School Instrumental Music Program
The Deer Valley High School Instrumental Music Program offers several different ensembles ranging from beginning/intermediate performance to audition based ensemble as well as percussion and of course the marching band.

The award winning DVHS Skyhawk Marching Band is a voluntary band. Our season starts in the late summer. We perform at football games and compete in several ABODA Marching Band competitions.

Wind Ensemble
The Deer Valley Skyhawk Wind Ensemble is our advanced concert band ensemble. The group takes on the more complex symphonic pieces and competes in ABODA Concert Band competitions.
Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band is comprised of intermediate and lesser experienced performers. Like the Wind Ensemble this group takes on challenging symphonic pieces and compete in the ABODA Concert Band competitions
Jazz Ensemble
The Deer Valley High School Jazz Ensemble is a volunteer group and focuses on the the musical art of big band jazz, swing, and other genres of music.
Chamber Orchestra

Pep Band
Deer Valley High School has amazing and successful athletics programs. No better way to get the students pumped up at a pep rally or at a game than with the pep band!
Percussion Ensemble
Percussion Ensemble is a unique ensemble that allows our percussionist to work together on their own complex performances as well as working the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band pieces. This class is smaller and allows for more focused percussion instruction.
