Wind Ensemble
The finest musicians at Deer Valley. Students must audition to get in (see mainpage for deatails) The group performs yearly at the ABODA Area Concert Festival and the Arizona State Concert Festival. The Wind Ensemble also plays a concert before the Graduation at the SUNDOME in Sun City.

Symphonic Band
An elective course offered during the school day . The group performs yearly at the ABODA Area Concert Festival. The Symphonic Band is open to ANYONE and does not require an audition to participate. Students will place emphasis on scale learning, technique and ensemble literature
This past year saw the Symphonic Band receive a Superior Rating for the 1st time in more that 10 years.
